Personal memories
After sitting on two planes (Aarhus-Stansted, Stansted-Dublin) I finally made my way down to this great venue. With a new album only two weeks away I was looking forward to see the new stageset, this time designed as a space station, and hearing El Dorado live. The set was mainly based on material written in the last decade which gave a fine contrast to the previous tour. It was great to hear some of the newer classics again. The walk-on Alien Mutant Eddie was probably the best we have seen ever. Three things were missing this evening: Heaven & Hell (for sad reasons), a tour programme, and a wardrobe to leave your jacket in. Iron Maiden's performance made up for all of it.
