Personal memories
Unfortunately I missed the Early Days Tour, so I was very much looking forward to this gig. It was the opening night of the European leg of the tour. Iron Maiden took a huge chance on this tour by playing A Matter Of Life And Death back to front. Some found it hard to cope, but I loved it. I don't need to hear Run To The Hills for the 100th time, but hearing new material is what keeps it fresh. It worked great! My sister and me got First To The Barrier tickets and were squeezed up front for most of the show.
