Personal memories
Sizewise this show was a huge contrast to the one I experienced less than two years earlier in Vega. Now Blaze was gone and Bruce and Adrian had rejoined. So in all due respect, this was the "new" Maiden showing its teeth. Maiden were on fire that night with a fantastic set of new and old, plus a few Blaze-era tracks. Bruce climbing to the top of the stage just to moon the audience. This gig might be my favourite Maiden experience!

The concert was at Thursday night so Iron Maiden was the first big headliner of that year's festival. Tragically, the day after 9 people were crushed to death during Pearl Jam's concert.
