Personal memories
This was the tour to break in the reformed line-up. A shorter tour with a 'best of' set. To say the least, it was fantastic to see Bruce on stage with Iron Maiden again. There was a walk-on Eddie and a big Ed Hunter Eddie for the final. The journey from Copenhagen to Gothenburg was a bit stressful for me and my friends. We filled two cars and headed for the Helsingore-Helsingborg ferry. Unfortunately, one car broke down on the ferry. So the guys (I was in the other car) had to push off the car in Sweden and were forced to rent a car in order to get to the gig in time - and we were already late. Us in the first car headed to Gothenburg and got there in time. Luckily, the others managed to squeeze into their seats the minute Megadeth played their opening chord. We were seated way up high on one side, and the sound was very thin and bad, unfortunately. Around the time of Powerslave we managed to sneak down near the ground level where we could enjoy the sound way better.
